I've heard that the old VW vans are tricky to drive. Is this true?
All our vans were built in the 1970’s, a time when the pace of life was much slower and vehicles were less advanced. VW campers will take a bit of getting used to as there is no power steering, no assisted brakes and a lot of movement in the gearshift. This does add to the character of the van and makes driving a pleasurable challenge.
What cooking facilities do the vans have?
The T2 bay vans are currently fitted with a 2 hob cooker. You would be amazed at what can be achieved with 2 gas rings! Andy was challenged to produce a 3 course dinner and pulled it off in spectacular fashion!
Alongside the 2 ring burner we will also supply you with a disposable BBQ.
Charlie Brown also comes with a little grill, ideal for making toast in the morning! Plus now Penny the T25 also has a small oven!
What type of fuel does the camper take?
The campers run on unleaded petrol.
Can the campers take baby / child care seats?
The vans are fitted with either lap and/or 3-point harnesses. Please contact us to find out if your chosen van is suitable for your requirements prior to booking. Please note that we do not supply baby seats or booster seats and all fitting must be carried out by the customer.
